Chemically Etched Anti-Glare Tempered Glass | 10–45% Custom Gloss for Touch Panels

FUXIN chemically etched anti-glare tempered glass belongs to the AG Anti Glare Screen Glass product line. Adopting professional chemical etching process, it forms a permanent micro-textured matte surface directly on the glass substrate, delivering long-lasting glare reduction without coating peeling risk. Gloss level is fully customizable from 10% to 45% to match different application scenarios.


With etching depth controlled at only 0.01–0.03mm, it maintains over 90% light transmittance and full compatibility with capacitive and resistive touch panels. Widely used in industrial HMIs, medical monitors, automotive displays, outdoor kiosks and high-precision equipment, combined with chemical/physical tempering for high impact safety. We also support matching AR anti-reflective, AF anti-fingerprint coating and silk screen printing.


Working Principle of Chemically Etched AG Glass


Different from coated AG glass which attaches a resin/polymer layer on the surface, chemically etched AG glass forms uniform micro concave-convex texture directly inside the glass surface via chemical corrosion.


  • Permanent anti-glare effect: The texture is integrated with the glass substrate, will never wear off or peel, far more durable than coated AG

  • Precise etching depth: Controlled at 0.01–0.03mm, does not interfere with electric field signals and touch detection accuracy

High Light Transmittance: Maintains 90% light transmission, ensuring bright, clear display output. Unlike some AG treatments, chemical etching does not significantly reduce transmittance.

Fingerprint & Dust Resistant: The matte surface texture naturally resists fingerprint marks and dust accumulation, maintaining clarity even after repeated use and cleaning.
