Custom AG Anti-Glare Cover Glass | Ra 0.08–0.40 μm for 4K/8K Touch Displays

FUXIN custom AG anti-glare cover glass is engineered for high-resolution touch displays, pen displays and drawing tablets where glare control must be balanced with image sharpness. A chemically etched micro-texture creates controlled surface diffusion, helping reduce mirror-like reflections from ambient lighting while maintaining the detail, contrast and color performance required by 4K and 8K screens.

The AG surface can be specified within an Ra range of 0.08–0.40 μm according to the application's target glare reduction, visual clarity and tactile feel. FUXIN supports custom dimensions, thicknesses, cutouts, edge profiles, strengthening, silk-screen printing and optional AF or AR combinations from prototype evaluation through volume production.

AG vs. AR vs. AF: Which Surface Treatment Does Your Display Need?

AG anti-glare treatment reduces visible reflections by diffusing incident light through a micro-textured surface. It is especially useful where ambient reflections are distracting and a matte viewing surface is acceptable.

AR anti-reflective treatment uses optical coating layers to reduce reflection while retaining a smoother, clearer surface. It is commonly selected when maximum clarity and low reflection are more important than a matte tactile surface.

AF anti-fingerprint treatment improves cleanability and reduces fingerprint adhesion. It does not replace AG or AR, but can be combined with them in suitable process stacks.
